espresso was born here, during a three-day summer holiday in Liguria.

The main idea came from mascara, a variable data printing software by irisco.

espresso will be an opensource database publishing (dbp) application to join data and forms into one document.

espresso will be written in Perl, using some opensource modules and standard file formats.
